1. About Student Fees Pay

Student Fees Pay helps students, parents, and guardians find their educational institution and access the institution's designated online fee payment service.

The App may allow users to:

• Search for an educational institution;
• Select and remember a previously selected institution;
• Access the institution's official or designated payment page;
• Complete fee-payment related activities through the relevant payment system.

Student Fees Pay primarily acts as a convenient access point between the user and the selected institution's online payment service.

2. Information We May Process

The App itself is designed to collect as little personal information as reasonably necessary. Depending on the institution and payment service being used, users may provide information such as:

• Student ID, admission ID, or other student identifier;
• Student or guardian information;
• Institution information;
• Contact information;
• Fee or payment-related information;
• Transaction reference or payment status information.

The exact information requested may vary depending on the selected educational institution and its payment system.

3. Remembered Institution

To improve convenience, Student Fees Pay may remember the institution selected by the user on the device.

Information such as the following may be stored locally:

• Institution ID;
• Institution name;
• School360 ID;
• EIIN, where applicable;
• Institution address;
• Institution logo information.

This information may be stored using local device or WebView storage so users do not need to search for the same institution every time they open the App.

Users can select another institution at any time. Locally stored information may be removed if the user clears the App's data, clears relevant browser/WebView storage, or uninstalls the App.

4. Payment Information

Student Fees Pay does not intentionally store users' card numbers, PINs, CVV/CVC codes, mobile financial service PINs, OTPs, or online banking passwords as part of its institution-selection functionality.

Payment transactions may be processed through an institution's designated payment page, payment gateway, bank, mobile financial service provider, or other payment service provider.

Information submitted on those payment systems may be subject to the respective service provider's privacy policy, security practices, and terms. Users should never disclose their PIN, password, or OTP to another person.

5. WebView and External Services

Student Fees Pay may use Android WebView to display web-based services.

When users proceed to an institution's payment service, they may interact with websites or services operated by School360, the educational institution, payment gateways, banks, mobile financial service providers, or other third parties.

Those third-party services may independently collect or process information according to their own privacy policies. Student Fees Pay is not responsible for the privacy practices of independent third-party services.

6. How Information Is Used

Information processed through the service may be used to:

• Provide access to the requested institution;
• Facilitate fee-payment related services;
• Identify the relevant student or payment record;
• Process and verify transactions;
• Display payment status;
• Provide customer support;
• Prevent fraud, abuse, or unauthorized activity;
• Maintain service reliability and security;
• Comply with applicable legal or regulatory requirements.

We do not sell users' personal information to advertisers.

7. Data Security

We take reasonable administrative and technical measures to protect information handled through our services. These measures may include secure HTTPS connections, controlled server access, server-side validation, security monitoring, and other appropriate safeguards.

However, no internet-based service or electronic storage system can guarantee absolute security.

8. Data Retention

Information is retained only as reasonably necessary for the purposes for which it is processed, including service operation, transaction records, accounting, dispute resolution, security, and applicable legal requirements.

Information stored locally on the user's device may remain until the App's storage is cleared or the App is uninstalled.

Retention periods for payment and institutional records may depend on the relevant institution, payment provider, contractual obligations, and applicable requirements.

9. Children's Privacy

Student Fees Pay may be used in connection with educational services involving students, including minors.

Where information about a minor is required for educational or payment purposes, parents, guardians, educational institutions, and authorized users should provide and use such information appropriately.

The App is not intended to encourage children to independently disclose unnecessary personal information.

10. Permissions

The Android application may request device permissions only where they are necessary for specific functionality. The permissions required may vary between versions of the App.

We do not intend to access device information or permissions unrelated to providing or securing the service.

11. Third-Party Links

The App may contain or open links to third-party websites or services.

We do not control the content, privacy policies, or practices of independent third-party services. Users are encouraged to review the privacy policy of any third-party service before providing sensitive information.

12. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes to the App, our services, applicable requirements, or our privacy practices.

When changes are made, the “Last Updated” date at the top of this Privacy Policy will be revised.
